Game Art Modelling and Texturing

Type:                Low poly game prop- model and texture
Description:        This is my first low poly model for the subject Game Art.It is modelled using polygons,manually unwrapped in UV texture editor and textures ny creating a PSD network.The textures are taken from the internet.
Softwares used:  Maya and photoshop

Description: My first attempt at an  entire car. Its a low poly model have  using polygons, manually unwrapped in UV texture editior and textured by creating a PSD network.

  1. Hey the car looks good....
    Theres and option in maya for turntables... Its a better way to display your 3D models, than having orthographic views...Along with the turntable keep the perspective view...
    Also change the BG to a shade of grey, coz its kinda hiding the wheels and the roof...your car will stand out better... :):)

  2. hey thank you :).....how do u make turntables in maya?....coz ur right that ll look much better....n ya i ll change the bg colour for all my maya renders coz blacks eats up a lot of info....t

  3. for turntables in Maya press F2( Animation)... select the model and go to Animate ... the last option is called Turntable... just enter the no. of frames that you want for your turntable...

    I have been having problems sometimes with this option... so if this doesn't work another way is to group the entire model and animate the rotation Y...
