Digital Posters

Description: I did these while learning Photoshop.I created  posters on  socially important concepts.The images used have been taken from the Internet.

Description: I did this for a design assignment wherein we had to design the cover page of a magazine.
I chose to do a fashion magazine cover.I themed it as a vintage magazine and hence Maryn Monroe, the all time diva as  my  cover girl.All the captions are  fictional. Photograh taken from the Internet but  modified using  hue saturation and colour balance in photoshop.

Tanjore Painting

Description: This is a traditional Indian art form wherein  kundan stones, gold foil and paints are used.
It not only taught me to respect my culture but also taught me patience.




Oil Painting

I took a lot of time to do this piece  because I would keep going back to an already finished part to do it again because it was oils I was working with.Eventually, I learnt to stop at the right time and move on to another part.

Glass Painting

The lines are still not perfect but I went crazy with the colours and I loved the result!

Water Colours

With this piece I learnt  to use colour and water in proper proportion depending  on the place.

Colour Pencils

Description: A Macaw, one of the most colourul birds done in my favourite medium. Reference taken. Before doing this I was afraid to do bold strokes while using bright colours because they would stand out more if I went wrong but i overcame that inhibition with this piece.

This piece made me fall in love with monochrome and realize its full power to express, also you can see that I am more comfortable using bold strokes.
